2. Purpose of the Website

The purpose of the site is to offer information and access to consulting, management and support services for expatriates moving to Spain. EMS offers customized services that may include legal advice, finding accommodation, transportation assistance, and other aspects related to relocation.

3. Use of the Site

The user agrees to use this website responsibly and in accordance with current legislation. The use of the site for illegal purposes or that infringes the rights of third parties is prohibited.

4. Services

The services offered by EMS are subject to particular conditions that will be detailed in the contracts or agreements signed with each client. The general information published on the website does not constitute a binding offer.

5. Intellectual Property

All contents of the website, including text, images, logos, designs, brands and software, are the property of EMS or used under applicable licenses. Reproduction, distribution or use without prior authorization is prohibited.

6. Responsability

EMS is not responsible for any damages or losses arising from misuse of the website or the services contracted by the user without proper advice. We do not guarantee permanent availability of the site, although we will do our best to avoid interruptions.

7. Data Protection

The processing of personal data will be governed by our Privacy Policy, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The user guarantees the veracity of the information provided and may exercise their rights of access, rectification and cancellation.

8. Modifications

EMS reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions, as well as the content of the site, at any time. The modifications will be considered accepted once published on the website.

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms will be governed by Spanish law. In the event of a conflict, the parties submit to the courts of the city of Barcelona, ​​waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply to them.

 

10. Terms of payment

  • EMS – Easy Move Solutions services may be subject to fixed, variable rates or personalized budgets depending on the type of service contracted and the client's needs.

  • Payment must be made within the agreed deadlines and through the payment methods accepted by EMS (bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other digital platforms that are enabled).

  • In the case of services contracted under reservation, a non-refundable advance may be required to confirm the provision of the service.

  • EMS reserves the right to suspend or cancel any service in the event of non-payment, late payments or failure to comply with agreed terms.

  • All prices indicated include applicable taxes, unless otherwise specified.

  • If the client requests cancellations or modifications, the particular conditions of each service will apply, which will be detailed previously at the time of contracting.

 

11. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • The services contracted with EMS may be canceled by the client, as long as it is notified in writing with sufficient advance notice.

  • In the event of cancellation by the customer, partial refunds may be applied, depending on the status of the service and the costs already assumed by EMS up to that point.

  • If part of the service has been started (consulting, arrangements, reservations, etc.), the value proportional to the work already performed will be deducted from the total amount.

  • Some specific services (such as third-party reservations, official procedures or managed rentals) may be non-refundable, which will be clearly disclosed prior to contracting.

  • In the event of cancellation by EMS for reasons beyond the control of the client, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded, except for causes of force majeure or exceptional cases defined by contract.

 

12. Service Adjustments or Improvements

Instead of a simple refund, EMS may offer—when feasible—adjustments, corrections or complementary improvements to the contracted service, provided that:

  • A formal request has been submitted within a maximum period of 7 days after the service is provided.

  • The service allows room for modification without incurring costs unrelated to EMS (for example, outsourced services or official procedures).

This measure seeks to ensure that each client feels that their experience with EMS has been effective, valuable and adapted to their real needs.
